My process often starts with photography and painting, before moving on to textile fibers where I play with color, texture, and material. Having grown up in multicultural environment between Australia and France, my greatest inspiration comes from nature, particularly the serene beauty of the seaside.  The ever-changing colors of the ocean, the texture of sandy shores, and the rhythmic dance of the waves all have a great impact on my artistic practice.

I’m captivated by the relationship between myself and the loom, which serves as my creative canvas. Here, I transform thread into beautiful textile art. Hand weaving is a traditional craft which carries hundreds of years of heritage. It’s structured nature offers a framework that invites exploration and experimentation. I have an appreciation for the time, effort, and skill involved in hand weaving, it creates a harmonious balance between discipline and creativity. I always strive to continue the legacy by creating innovative contemporary art.
